Wirehead is a Canadian recruitment company that places senior independent contractors into the Government of Canada and the country's Big Six banks. We're bilingual by default, fully Canadian, and built for experts who know the difference between a generalist job board and a contracting partner that understands their stack.
Our mission
Senior I&IT contracting in Canada has been underserved by generalist platforms. The contracts are specialized, the security clearances are real, and the matching needs to respect the way independent contractors actually work — corp-to-corp invoicing, defined rate ranges, work-mode preferences, federal experience.
Wirehead exists to make that matching feel less like a job board and more like a dedicated account manager who already knows your work — backed by software that handles the boring parts (resume parsing, eligibility checks, language toggling) so the human conversations are the ones that matter.

How we work
Every application is reviewed by a Wirehead account manager before it goes to a client. Our AI Match feature surfaces likely-fit contracts to make the candidate's search faster, but it never replaces the human review. Your data stays inside Wirehead until you explicitly authorize the submission.

Wirehead Corporation is incorporated in Ontario, headquartered in Toronto, and operates under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25. Our platform is bilingual (EN-CA / FR-CA) at parity per Bill 96. We are working toward SOC 2 Type II certification.
