Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

Deliverables:

Quality Assurance Methodology: 50%

·       Senior automation developer with 5+ years of experience in process, planning, organizing and implementing automated testing efforts
·       Extensive experience with automated testing (create/modify/execute test scripts);
·       Demonstrated QA Automation development
·       Experience with manual testing;
·       Selenium (Highly Preferred), SoapUI, Java; IntelliJ IDEA,
·       Jira; Azure Devops
·       Experience in working with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software;
·       Knowledge and experience in testing of a Registry system (ex. Catalyst);
·       Knowledge of the systems development cycle (SDLC), software test life cycle (STLC), project management;
·       Knowledge of application development methodologies, techniques and methods.

Quality Assurance Experience: 35%

·       analysis and design methodology, techniques; structured testing
·       Analysis of business requirements and functional designs
·       Knowledge of Risk and evidence-based testing
·       Analysis of business rules
·       Identifying the test scenarios
·       Creation of the automated test scripts cases, traceability matrix
·       Defining the expected results
·       Creation of test data, test user accounts
·       Creation of database queries to select test data and ensure database integrity
·       Recording the results of the testing in Microfocus ALM/JIRA
·       Experience in entry, exit and acceptance testing criteria

Nice to have: 15%

·       Presentations to project and team members.
·       Cross training to project and team members.
·       Internet and Intranet, operating systems, databases, network protocols, and data transformation.
·       Excellent written communication skills to document and report complex findings from testing projects to project owners

Must Haves:

·       5+ years demonstrated expertise working with Selenium, SoapUI.
·       5+ years of demonstrated QA Automation development.
·       BA/ BS preferably in Computer Science OR, Information Technology.
·       Experience with UI test frameworks such as Selenium Webdriver.
·       5+ years of proven experience in defining, developing and owning test automation infrastructure for a large enterprise.
·       5+ years demonstrated experience in programming languages like Java, .net, Python, JavaScript.
·       5+ years demonstrated working knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins or other automation tools.
·       Capable level of programming with at least 1 software language such as NodeJS, Ruby, Java, C#, or Python.
·       5+ years demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment.
·       Experience with API test frameworks.
