On behalf of our Government client, Wirehead has a new contract opportunity for an Application Architect. (Cloud/Security)

Requirements: What you’ll need

Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

Deliverables:

Technical Experience – 65%

• 10+ years experience as an Application/Information/Security Architect developing a mixed of system architectures for in-house custom solutions/COTS/Cloud based solution
• Extensive hands-on experience architecting and designing solutions deployed under Azure cloud platform
• Strong experience of integrating Azure Single sign-On (SSO) with Business-to-business (B2B) identity providers
• Experience implementing enterprise best practices to integrate various services under Azure Cloud platform, expert in Azure Active Directory and Application Security in Azure, setting Azure API Managements policies
• Strong experience in designing, building and provisioning services via Azure CLI as App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps and Secure Vault
• Knowledge and experience with technologies including: .NET framework (4.0+), ASP.NET,.Net Core, MVC, Entity framework, Bootstrap, AngularJS, Angular 6-11, Web Workers, Angular Universal, Electron, Angular Material
• Knowledge and experience of integration with Microsoft Office 365 services such as Sharepoint Online or OneDrive
• Experience developing solutions architectures, designing and deploying high traffic, high volume, secure, publicly facing applications involving technologies such as .NET, SOA, REST, node.js, Typescript, Java, Oracle DBMS, Microsoft SQL Server, PKI, Auth0 and data encryption.
• Experience with Azure deployment templates and parameter files
• Experience in UI/UX best practices and design patterns in particular Google’s Material Design
• Hands on Linux experience with command line, shell scripting and administration
• Experience designing, building securing and consuming REST API solutions-based architectures
• Experience with web proxies, caching configuration, rewriting and redirect routines on major servers like IIS and Apache
• Strong experience with Authentication and Authorization systems, SSO, SAML, JWT, OAuth;
• Knowledge/Experience in producing Enterprise Application/Information architecture artifacts and how they provide an enterprise view to the application being architected / designed.
• Experience in documenting business processes, business requirements and system requirements.
• Experience in identifying, reviewing and analyzing solution implementation options and alternatives, including associated risks, documenting results and presenting conclusions.
• Experience in advising clients on options, cost benefit analysis and reporting to senior decision makers.

Other Experience/Skills – 30%

• Leading an Agile team of developers for cloud technologies projects to define and implement standards and strategies based on priorities
• Expert in working in Agile short iterations, Scrum methodology , sprint planning and management experience
• Experience of working with various teams towards achieving best user experience (UX)
• Completing work and achieving milestones within the assigned deadlines; Consulting with clients and other project partners in order to assess clients’ business problems/opportunities and to identify business and technology solutions suited to the client needs;
• Experience working on projects within a multi-client/partner environment and multitenant platform
• Demonstrates experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, communicating advantages and disadvantages of various technical options and providing effective guidance in clear, non-technical terms
• Demonstrates experience communicating day-to-day tasks and issue tracking, reporting and facilitating resolution of issues and risks for all project activities
• Demonstrates experience gathering and consolidating input into changes required to business and/or system requirements, change requests, project artefacts
• Proven ability to lead business users to the successful completion of an assignment of this nature, magnitude, and complexity, and demonstrated ability to help them achieve the desired business benefits on schedule and within budget
· Experience working in programs consisting of multiple highly inter-dependent projects.

Public Sector Experience – 5%

• Experience within the public sector is an asset.
• 10+ years experience as a Solutions Designer, Technical Lead

Must haves:
