On behalf of our Government client, Wirehead has a new contract opportunity for a Senior Quality Assurance Tester.

Deliverables:

CRITERIA:

Criteria 1 – QA Skills

• Hands on experience in developing and executing test scripts, test data, record software defects, documenting software defects and track resolution.
• Extensive knowledge in developing test plans, test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality of various modules and changes made to the modules.

Criteria 2 – Technology and Tool Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms including DevOPS as well as experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle

Criteria 3 – Business and Interpersonal Skills

• Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete with excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills; strong verbal and written communication skills

Criteria 4 – Public Sector Experience

• Experience on testing enterprise level systems and exposure to OPS/ministry QA processes and standards- minimum of 5 years
• Hands on experience with AODA and knowledge of accessibility compliance principles as presented in WCAG 2.0, level AA

MUST HAVES:

• Min 8 years of experience in quality assurance
• Working knowledge of SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript and related scripting technologies for automation
• Knowledge and experience in the use of automated test tools and version control systems on one or more platforms
