Senior QA Tester Contract

Requirements: What you’ll need
 
Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications
 
Must-haves: 

3 yr+ Experience in performing various application testing: Functional, Regression, Performance.
2 yr+ Experience with the user story & defect management life cycle using JIRA, DevOPS, or HP-ALM.
Experience with AODA testing and tools: AXE, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS.

Nice-to-have:
Automation testing experience using Katalon, Selenium.

Technical Skills – 80%
3 yr+ Experience in performing various application testing: Functional, Regression, Automated, and Performance.
2 yr+ Experience with the user story & defect management life cycle using JIRA, DevOPS, or HP-ALM.
Demonstrated Test Data creation and analysis skills.
Experience with SQL to verify data integrity.
Working knowledge of ETL processes.
Experience with AODA testing and tools: AXE, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS.
Desirable: Experience in testing IBM Curam-based solutions.
Desirable: Experience in software development using JAVA.
Desirable: Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Desirable: Experience in developing unit tests desirably using JUnit.
Desirable: Experience with automated testing desirably using Selenium, JMeter, Postman.
Desirable: Experience in automation of Regression Testing.

Knowledge of Methodologies – 10%
Working knowledge of SDLC and the Agile development methodology.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with RDBMS design concepts.
Demonstrated experience in identifying risk and providing solutions.
Communication Skills – 10%
Ability to build good working relationships.
Positive team player.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
