Requirements: What you’ll need
Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications
Deliverables:
• Submitting and coordinating CRQ requests through eSMT
• Coordinating ITS and JTS resources (e.g., networking team re: IP addresses, certificate generation team, domain administration group, CCPay, and any other relevant parties) to support project activities (e.g., domain name, certificate signing)
• Act as liaison between ITS resources, vendor and CAMP project team in resolving technical issues/concerns
• Working with the unit/branch in ITS that supports the implementation of a Public Portal
• Contribute and support build/requirements gathering with vendor when possible (Thomson Reuters)
• Supporting project architect with ongoing activities needed for upcoming phases (e.g., architecture report back, delta TRA, delta PIA, pen test, etc.)
• Promotes OPS I&IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality, adherence to standard methodology and the control of the use of I&IT resources.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
• May assist with some Business and Functionality Testing
• Participate/Lead in lessons-learned sessions

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 5 years of digital/systems technology experience
• At least 10 years of project management experience with digital systems.
CRITERIA:
Criteria 1 – Project Management Skills (40 Points)
• Excellent team building and leadership skills to engage the project team and ensure collaboration and focus on achieving project deliverables
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to resolve problems and design/deliver presentations, proposals and business cases
• Analytical ability to determine client requirements, make presentations, prepare proposals, business cases and tenders and write procedures, resolve conflicts, develop and sustain effective working relationships
• Successful resolution skills to resolve issues with stakeholders and address risks and benefits of specific solutions and recommend specific courses of action
• Strategic ability to identify optimal solutions to meet client needs and provide submissions to facilitate senior level decision-making
• Proven success in creating and maintaining a detailed project schedule and/or integrated plan.
• Financial skills to develop complex project budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross ministry dependencies. Effective management of large project budgets ensuring a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, forecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.
• Ability to be proactive in Identification of potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed
• Ability to prepare status reports and briefing notes for steering committee and stakeholder forums.
• Knowledge of appropriate strategies related to change management, during all stages of projects – concept, definition, planning, implementation and close-out
• Experience in managing the implementation activities associated with large projects in an I&IT environment
• Use of project management software and methodologies in a dynamic environment
Criteria 2 – Technical Skills (30 Points)
• Working knowledge of Audio, Visual and Videoconferencing technology, both hardware and software proficiency
• Knowledge of technical design involving responsive UI technologies and online service design
• Working knowledge of technical and logical architectures of enterprise-wide applications involving integration with case management applications, online portals, enterprise service bus middleware, cross domain application integration such as Java and .NET
• Hands on working experience on application and data migration strategies for enterprise applications
• Ability to work with integrated cross competency teams including (but not limited to) business, IT, infrastructure, vendors and 3rd party applications
Criteria 3 – Communication Skills (25 Points)
• Demonstrated interpersonal and consultation skills to communicate project deliverables and build strong project teams and client relationships
• Excellent Presentation skills, writing skills, negotiating skills
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on
• Experience in documenting project status reports, project tracking for resources, finances, progress, issues and risks
Criteria 4 – Public Sector Experience (5 Points)
• Having a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Public Sector
Must haves:
• Demonstrated interpersonal and consultation skills to communicate project deliverables and build strong project teams and client relationships
• Excellent Presentation skills, writing skills, negotiating skills
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on
• Experience in documenting project status reports, project tracking for resources, finances, progress, issues and risks
