Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

Data model configuration on Salesforce 

Support with building and testing the minimum viable product within Salesforce,

Developing workflows, updates and improvements

Document business requirements, specifications, process flows, application designs, application configuration, testing and release management

Configure Salesforce applications in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc

Ensure data security is enforced through the use of roles, profiles, and sharing rules

Contribute to multiple phases of systems implementations such as data conversion, configuration, integration and customization

Responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes:

developing detailed programming specifications

writing and/or generating code

compiling data-driven programs

maintaining, and conducting unit tests

Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Technical Skills - 70%

• 3 yr+ Demonstrated experience working in back-end web development
• 2+ years of professional object-oriented development experience
• Proficiency with Apex, Java or C#; SOQL or SQL; and Lightning Web Components or web development is desirable
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is desirable; work with JS frameworks is a bonus
• Experience with modern IDEs (VSCode, IntelliJ), version control (Git, SVN), Agile tools (JIRA) and DevOps is desirable
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies
• Proficiency with data modeling
• Advocates for and adheres to the usage of defined Coding Standards
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
• Experienced leading Salesforce integrations
• Working with multiple platforms and APIs to feed\retrieve data via XML, JSON, csv, fixed files, etc.
• Experience in developing workflows
• Experience in Configuring Salesforce applications in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc
• Experience in ensuring data security is enforced through the use of roles, profiles, and sharing rules
• Required Salesforce certification:
• Platform Developer 1 & 2, OMNI Studio Developer
• Desired certifications:
• Salesforce Certified App Builder
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I
• Desired Skills
• Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer Certifications, Marketing Cloud
• CRM, Interaction Management, CTI, Case Management and Technologies that support these
