Responsibilities:
· Leads solutions options through the cloud first team
· Refines & documents the Business Problem
· Assesses upgrade path from the Vendor
· Solicits and documents the high level requirements to determine other solutions that are available for engagement in with the Cloud First Team
· Developing and managing the project schedule, decomposing the project scope into measurable tasks, with responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and costs
· Defining, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and setting deliverables/quality/performance expectations for project resources
· Resolving resourcing conflicts and negotiating changes to resourcing needs
· Collaborates with various internal or external service providers/partners to plan/align project dependencies and/or integrate solution components
· Proactively planning and prioritizing tasks effectively to respond to numerous and diverse challenges and demands
· Managing expectations in line with project critical success factors
· Communicating and controlling the scope, time, and cost of the project to team members, clients and other stakeholders
· Ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner
· Provides project status update reports, biweekly, to support project reporting for senior executives
· Identifies, analyses, prioritizes and communicates project risks for decision makers
· Provides recommendations and mitigation strategies based on a detailed evaluation of risks and issues along with an understanding of the business implications
· Ensures documents are maintained in a shared repository and that knowledge is shared among team members
· Assists in the facilitation of team, vendor, and client meetings
· Communicates effectively to identify needs and evaluate solutions to complex business and technical issues

· Demonstrated experience leading project teams, facilitating interactions with clients and among the project team
· Excellent verbal and written skills
· Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within extremely tight and/or aggressive project timelines
· Strong communication skills to present complex or technical details to business clients
· Strong negotiation, consensus building and ability to manage/facilitate difficult conversations with team members, clients and/or executives
· Experience with engaging business and IT stakeholders, understand requirements for new functionality or changes to existing ones and providing high level and detailed estimates
· Expert knowledge/experience in writing detailed user stories
· Demonstrated experience with facilitation and the ability to interpret business needs to technical requirements
· Demonstrated ability in conducting feasibility analysis, project scoping and providing project work estimates
· Experience with requirements development involving requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and validation
Technical Skills – 10%
· Understanding of key phases and tasks of an IT project
· Advanced Office365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Visio
· Experience with iBase (an i2 product) databases an asset

· Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager
· Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methods and techniques
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
· Proven experience facilitation of client meetings/workshops, interpretation of business needs to technical requirements
· Experience creating and documenting detailed user stories
· Experience managing privacy and security deliverables
· Advanced knowledge and experience with Agile development concepts and methodologies
· Experience leading technical teams
· Strong technical and business aptitude
· Persistent attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills (clear & concise)
· Self-motivated leader with strong interpersonal skills
· Advanced skills in Office365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and Visio, and Planview
· Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver within extremely tight deadlines
· Previous government experience is an asset
· Experience with requirements development involving requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and validation
· Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work seamlessly in an agile cross-functional team, with clients, vendor(s) and other stakeholders.
· Excellent facilitation, presentation, time-management and problem-solving skills.
· Able to build strong and trusting relationships, liaising effectively stakeholders
· Knowledge and experience with supporting Public Sector Digital First strategies; experience with working with Digital Service standards including formal submissions for assessments as per official digital standards established
· Able to resolve issues in a timely manner, provide options and recommendations.
· Understand business metrics and able to translate business goals and objectives into digital experiences.
· Knowledge to ensure compliance with requirements for accessibility and user centric design including Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Simpler, Better, Faster Services Act
· Strong research skills to perform industry research, provide options and make recommendations for solution improvements.
