DESCRIPTION

Our Government client is seeking One (1) BI Specialist for a 13-month contract + extension located in downtown Toronto. You will ideally have implementation and support expertise in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and related products such as BI Publisher and Data Visualization. 

Requirements: What you'll need

 

Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications;

OBIEE 12 Implementation Expertise

  • Experience with conducting workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with clients on BI & Data Analytics initiatives; 
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12 (OBIEE) repository database (RPD), reports, dashboards and analytics object design, build and implementation; 
  • Experience in building data models optimized for business intelligence and analytic functions; 
  • Experience with data integration, data cleansing, data modeling, data analytics 
  • Skilled in Software Development Life cycle and can apply in understanding, building and maintaining custom solutions 


Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials Release 12 

·       Oracle E-business suite technical and functional knowledge especially in Receivables, General Ledger and Inventory modules 

Support Experience

  • Experience in providing and documenting impact assessment for application changes, upgrades and patches; 
  • Experience in eliciting, documenting and validating business requirements; 
  • Experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance and Documentation; 
  • Experience in data management, financial and business analysis, architecture and data modeling 
  • Experience in technical guidance on OBIEE products and components. 


Change Management, Training and Transition 

  • Demonstrated experience with Data reconciliation 
  • Experience in training, transition and change management activities 


Soft Skills 

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal: clear, concise and jargon-free. 
  • Ability to communicate concepts and details to clients, development team and testing team; 
  • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions; 
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams; 
  • Demonstrated ability to work with functional and technical teams; participate in a large teams and work closely with other individual team members; 
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, work with aggressive timelines, and be adaptive to change; and 
  • Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems
