Our Government client is seeking One (1) Application Architect for a 12-month contract + extension to begin immediately. Must have experience with BMC Remedy applications.

Requirements: What you'll need

 Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with multiple BMC Remedy Applications 
  • Knowledge and experience with the Remedy platform and supporting infrastructure, including Unix operating system, MS SQL Server database technology, communications protocols, applicable middleware, and gateways 
  • Knowledge and experience with Java Development 
  • Experience in structured methodologies for systems design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications 
  • Experience with the use and implementation of BMC ITSM 7.6.04/8.1/9.1 for a large Enterprise Service Desk 
  • Experience in ITSM compliant Remedy System. 
  • Experience in Recognized, ITSM compliant Service Desk tool (Tivoli Service Desk, Heat, IMPACT, CA Service Desk) 
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Service Management via emails, word documents, etc. 
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) 
  • Working knowledge of designed processes around ITIL Practices and the ability to guide others using this Methodology. 
  • Demonstrated attainment of ITIL Foundation V3 Certification. 
  • 10 + years Application Methodology experience following the Software development life-cycle including Analysis, planning, design, coding, testing, unit test, and delivery. 
  • Demonstrated experience with Industry recognized Service desk experience (IBM,CSC,HP,DELL, etc.) 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a helpdesk environment of 10 or fewer employees 
  • Demonstrated experience with working in a local IT support Team, providing phone and email support Background in Enterprise Scale user migrations. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills 
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines 
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills are required.
