Our Government client is seeking One (1) Training Specialist for a 4-month contract + extension located in Toronto.

Requirements: What you'll need

Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • ·       5+ years of experience in developing and delivering blended training plans for adult learners. 
  • ·       Working knowledge of instructional design, course development, distance learning, multi-media technologies and adult learning. 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training plans for non- technical users. 
  • ·       5+ years of experience in using standard industry tools for eLearning development and virtual training delivery. 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience in using training development tools such as Adobe Captivate, RoboHelp, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint & Word) 
  • ·       5+ years of experience in delivering facilitated sessions (in-class and virtual) to non- technical users. 
  • ·       Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through both formal and informal evaluation methods. 
  • ·       Experience in reviewing training programs effectiveness through evaluating team resources: including Level 1 Feedback, facilitation observations, etc. and adjusting training approach as needed. 
  • ·       Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills 
  • ·       Strong leadership and collaboration skills 
  • ·       Proven track record for building strong working relationships 
  • ·       A demonstrated team player with a track record for meeting deadlines 

 Deliverables: What you'll do

  • ·       Develop a plan for accomplishing the deliverables 
  • ·       A comprehensive training strategy and plan for the Grants Ontario solution, including a training approach for external users as well as internal users, that utilizes a wide variety of training formats and experiences. 
  • ·       Development of extensive training materials to support a wide variety of training experiences and formats, as defined in the training strategy. 
  • ·       Establishment of benchmarks and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the plan and training activities. 
  • ·       Assessment, analysis, and reporting measuring the effectiveness of the training activities. 
  • ·       Ongoing status reporting of all change management activities
