Our Government client (Humber College) is seeking One (1) Project Coordinator for a 12-month contract + 12-month extension located in Toronto.

 Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a college diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Office/Business Administration, Systems Analysis, Project Management Human Resources or related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrated skill with office management systems and ERPs is required, as is advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). The ability to be proactive and to prioritize and organize numerous demands with strong attention to detail is essential, as are, excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment; execute many complex tasks simultaneously and think with a business owner mindset; and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Experience with Banner would be considered an asset. 

Deliverables:

Reporting to the HRMS Project Manager, the HRMS Project Coordinator will be the point person for all project related activities and balance ever-changing priorities. The incumbent will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, creating purchase orders, requisitions, invoice receipts and other documents as required. Perform budget tracking, and resource management using a variety of systems and tools. Work with budget holders to ensure financial controls in are place. Monitor any activity that does not fall within the tracked budget amount and escalate as necessary. Process complex chargebacks and coordinate closely with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Human Resources. Run daily/weekly reports and track actuals against budgeted amount for each expense, resource and/or any additional spending.
