DESCRIPTION

Our Government client is seeking One (1) Project Manager for a 13-month contract + extension located in downtown Toronto.

Requirements: What you'll need

Skills, Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • ·       5+ years experience with Project Management 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience balancing technical and business requirements 
  • ·       Experience working in programs consisting of multiple highly inter-dependent projects. Demonstrable experience with requirement management, quality assurance and change management tools 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience managing projects with dynamic project schedules to completion and within budget and scope 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated experience identifying schedule risks and establishing mitigation strategies experience integrating enterprise applications and identifying IT process gaps and reporting needs 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience with change management methods 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience working with business clients and executives to identify and implement business improvements 
  • ·       Working experience acting as a liaison between business and IT clients 
  • ·       Experience managing workload capacity and bandwidth of project members, and reallocating resources accordingly 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience organizing and facilitating workshops (e.g. Joint Application Design sessions) targeted at business process analysis 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience organizing training sessions/the development of reference materials for end users 
  • ·       Experience identifying efficiency and streamlining processes across an organization Creating process maps, process flows 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience with Analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos) and data-driven decision making 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience with front end user interface and user experience design 
  • ·       Experience managing technical improvements and standardization across projects 
  • ·       Experience in documenting business, technical and system processes and requirements 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience with JAD facilitation, interpreting business needs to technical requirements, project meetings for reviews 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience developing project plans, charters, status updates and briefing materials 
  • ·       Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills 
  • ·       Demonstrated skills in consensus building and issue resolution involving key stakeholders, and members of teams 
  • ·       Demonstrated experience introducing technical standards and business process improvements to business teams 
  • ·       Experience forming effective working relationships with I&IT, business clients, internal and external partners/stakeholders and project staff
